Instrument Deployment
October 15 - Two Acoustic Dopler Current Profilers (ADCPs)
were configured for high resolution velocity measurements in the
bottom boundary layer (from about 10 cm above bed to about 150 cm
above bottom). Other instruments deployed with the ADCPs included
Conductivity-Temperature-Depth dataloggers (CTDs), Optical Backscatterance
Sensors (OBSs) to estimate total suspended solids concentration, a Laser
In-Situ Scattering and Transmissiometry particle size analyzer, and an
acoustic altimeter to estimate instrument height above bed.
